Persona: The 3Ds (Prologue)

Amidst the foggy road, a boy unknown to what is going on is walking. He cant not see anything as he continues his walk. Only the road ahead of him is visible.
After a moment of walking he reaches what looks like a glowing blue door. Curious unknown to the boy himself, he opens the door...
and appears. seated. in a blue velvet room.
Looking around, he sees 4 other people in the room as well. 2 other boys, however they can not be seen or described, their clothes, facial features and hair are pitch black; A blond haired women, dressed in a blue suit. and an bizarre old man with a long nose, pointed ears, and bulging, bloodshot eyes. He wears a black suit with white gloves.

As if noticing the boy's gaze, the old man, looks up from his hunched over position and says:

"Ah... It seems our final guest has arrived. Welcome to the Velvet Room."

....Velvet Room? The boy seems to think as he galances around. Sure does look like everything is in Velvet.

" This place exists between dream and reality, mind and matter " The old man seems to continue on, as if noticing the boy's curiousity about the room, "My name is Igor, and I- *ahem* we will be assisting you on this new exciting journey." The old man waved his hand in a casual manner, to the women who then says:

"Welcome, My name is Margaret. Like my master has said, We are here to assist you all on this journey."

You..all? The boy looks at the other 2 unseeable boys.. oddly enough they just look at Margaret and Igor as they talk, as if they cant hear anything else..

"...I take it you are curious as to why only you can hear me clearly?" The women asks, startling the boy into a nod.. though he didnt know only he was hearing her fine.

"That is because of- *chuckles* oh this IS interesting, seems these three have made a contract.. yet only one has nearly awakened.." The old man smiled, "Nevertheless-" As he speaks 3 tarot cards fade into view on a table in front of the old man, only one, titled number ten was nearly visible to see. "The fortune. I see that you are inclined to a destiny of some sort." Igor said with a wide smirk on his face.

The boy seems intrigued that the card he was represented was "fortune". He also felt as if he was being given this grand quest as if he was in some sort of fantasy roleplaying game.

"I take it that your thinking that this means your life will be filled with wealth and happiness in your life." The boy focused back to Igor. "Fortune is more than just wealth and happiness. It could also lead to death and destruction along the way. Or, a sign of change is about to happen. For better or for worse."

The boy grows more curious. What change might happen? How soon will this happen? Or will my destiny be good or end horribly. All these thoughts raddled his head.

"Now." Igor interrupted the boys thoughts. "I'll let you off to your journey and destiny. But before you leave, please tell us your name young boy."

The boy opened his mouth and spoke firmly to Igor "Darwin Moretti."

"We'll be seeing you again mister Moretti. Take care and remember. Your actions can effect others around you."

The world around him turned white. As if the whiteness was eating up the whole room and everyone in it. With everything gone, Darwin woke up in his room. Everything was back to the way he remembered.
